GURU PARANJOTHI SUBRAMANIAM

Paranjothi Subramaniam is the
founder of the Self Awareness Centre, the
first of which opened in Kuala Lumpur in 1988. He has guided the development of
the Centres, which now number five. Over 40,000 participants have attended his
seminars and workshops.
After graduation with a degree in electrical Engineering from a University in
United Kingdom, he returned to his place of birth, Malaysia and began a long
successful career in the Civil Service.
However, he felt drawn to a more spiritual life after receiving the blessings
from his Holiness Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan. He was initiated
into Kundalini Yoga Meditation on 8/12/1979 by Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan's
prime disciple and gurupiran of PARANJOTHI PARIPOORNA GNANAM SABHAI MALAYSIA, Gnanaguru Paranjothi Sivasankaran .Under guidance of his revered Gurus he began
practicing Kundalini Yoga Meditation and eventually became a spiritual master
himself on 1/5/1988 and thus the title Gnanaguru
Paranjothi is given as he accept the GURUDOM.
However, while continuing his spiritual development, Paranjothi Subramaniam
also embraced the latest Western concepts in psychology and psycho therapy.
This took him to the United States where he met his mentor W. Brugh Joy, M.D. who made him realize the
importance of the Heart Centre
(Anahatha) Meditation. Brugh
joy is the author of Best Sellers "Joys Way" and
"Avalanche".
By 1992, Paranjothi Subramaniam felt confident enough to devote his life to
solely teaching others, thus gave up his engineering profession. His skills as
a Motivational trainer and Counselors were already well established and his
time and energy was needed to develop new branches.
In 1988, he developed the exciting programme called the 7-Days Transformational Journey, a programme to change the lives of many.
Designed in his own words, "Build People Psychologically; Uplift Them
Spiritually And The People Will Build The Nation", is an experience that
will reveal the divinity of oneself.
Our guru Paranjothi Subramaniam's teachings is the perfect blending of east and
west. His Holiness Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan's kundalini gnana philosophy
and western pyschology and pyscho therapy bridged grandly through the teachings
of grandmaster PARANJOTHI SUBRAMANIAM.
